I am in awe of these photographed portraits of jellyfish, captured by Guido Mocafico (found via paper tastebuds).  He also has some stunnning images of snakes and incredible interpretations of traditional still lives.  Definitely look through his entire portfolio.

Funny you post this after an article was posted on MSN about the invasion of Jellies along Japan’s shoreline (thank you global warming). I find these photos beautiful yet able to make the skin crawl. :) I checked out his site…great photography. Thanks for sharing. :)

I love jellyfish, but I can never get a good image while I’m at the aquarium. These are perfect!
