The past year was a difficult one for me and every morning at work I would check your blog because it inspired me and kept me going. This post really made me think, because I've been thinking about the coming year too. Like your husband, I just wanted to encourage you to not be so hard on yourself! Sometimes we make mistakes or things don't turn out exactly as we had liked, but you know what? You tried. You were there in the thick of it: attempting a new recipe on Christmas Eve, working on the new stocking. Give yourself credit for being open to trying new challenges. I find that a really admirable quality. Hey - you may have had difficulty with the stocking and turkey but you've inspired me daily for the past year! :) Best wishes for a wonderful 2010!
