Today I’m excited to share my newly designed and freshly printed letterpress business cards. I hinted recently about a project I worked on with my dear friend Colleen; she hand-wrote my name in her beautiful calligraphy and I think it’s fun and whimsical, but still elegant and stately. She does such beautiful work!
I decided to go with a double-sided card this time around. One side is just the logo (which is an emboss on the paper because of how it was printed) in a bright blue (inspired by colorful British front doors); the other side is my contact information in a pale, mint green.
They’re also slightly shorter than the typical business card size but still the same length. I’m very pleased and can’t wait to start passing them out!

Ooh la la! I like “write a note” and “give a ring”! Very nice color choice and calligraphy is beautiful.

[...] This weekend was the first of many wedding events for my wonderful and dear friend, Colleen. I’ve been waiting for this event to not be a big secret anymore so I could share the invitation with you all! We decided to go with a fuschia pink and antique gold to match the colors of the room where it was held at Upstairs on the Square. I wanted to keep it simple but elegant to reflect the venue, and also picked a flourishy typeface to echo Colleen’s calligraphy. [...]

Great choice! The type really shines on these cards, and I am in love with the color!
