Today I’m excited to share my newly designed and freshly printed letterpress business cards.  I hinted recently about a project I worked on with my dear friend Colleen; she hand-wrote my name in her beautiful calligraphy and I think it’s fun and whimsical, but still elegant and stately.  She does such beautiful work!

I decided to go with a double-sided card this time around.  One side is just the logo (which is an emboss on the paper because of how it was printed) in a bright blue (inspired by colorful British front doors); the other side is my contact information in a pale, mint green.

They’re also slightly shorter than the typical business card size but still the same length.  I’m very pleased and can’t wait to start passing them out!

[...] This weekend was the first of many wedding events for my wonderful and dear friend, Colleen.  I’ve been waiting for this event to not be a big secret anymore so I could share the invitation with you all!  We decided to go with a fuschia pink and antique gold to match the colors of the room where it was held at Upstairs on the Square.  I wanted to keep it simple but elegant to reflect the venue, and also picked a flourishy typeface to echo Colleen’s calligraphy.
