Here’s another sneak peak at what I’ve been busily working on for Union Made on June 19th and my online shop’s launch on June 20th. My “cuppa” print is one of four 8″x10″ letterpress prints (all illustrations hand-drawn by me; anyone that knows me knows that this fact alone is pretty special!) that are ready for framing and enjoying.

These images from frolic of Les îsles de la Madeleine, off the coast of Quebec, caught my eye and reallly remind me of one of my favorite movies to watch. Marking on my “places to someday visit” list…

These piles-upon-piles of peonies from Jordan are melting my heart. Peonies are my absolute favorite flower and I’m still sad that my florist for our wedding couldn’t get a hold of them in August. I would love to buy a bunch to have in my kitchen but my two indoor-only cats would shred them to bits. Le sigh!

Kate Joyce’s work is some of the most striking photography I’ve seen in a long time. Seriously, go through her portfolio, especially the Monthly Miniature Series… Wow.

Geninne’s work (and especially any of her bird illustrations) always lifts my spirits and inspires me. Her colors are so fresh and punchy, it gets me so excited for summer.

Stumbled upon this letterpress print by Josh Whiggins and needed to share. The concept was originally created by Josh & Doyald Young, who sadly passed away before the project could be finished. Josh decided to honor their project and contacted the uber-talented Jessica Hische for finishing the design. Proceeds of the print are going to a scholarship started in Doyald’s name. A lovely print in memory of an amazing type designer, and a good cause as well.

I’ve got some exciting news to share with you today: I will be in my first show! My good friend Meagan and I will be sharing a booth at this summer’s Boston Bizarre Bazaar Union Made Craft Fair in Union Square (Somerville, MA) on June 19th from noon till 6 pm. The next month should be absolutely nutty for me getting all my product printed and ready, but I’m ready for it. It will also be a chance to see all the new things I’ve been busy making for my online paper goods shop, which will be launching the very next day on June 20th. Hope if you’re in the Boston area that you’ll be able to make it.

I love this photo from Anna Allen’s shop so much. Reminds me of watching Anne of Green Gables (and all the countless weekend afternoons I’ve spent on the sofa watching it. I know those movies by heart!).
I’ve been a fan of Anna and her blog for some time now… would love to own one of her beautifully made pieces.

Such a cute newly wedded couple! Sarah and Brandon’s Newfoundland winter wedding was put together with lots of love and these photos show it. Love the image of them outside by the pine trees… thinking of inspiration for my cousin’s late November wedding coming up later this year!
