Just popping in to let you know I’m back from my brief hiatus. I’m fighting a cold and have a pile of work to get to, but wanted to share this photo of one of our cheese plates from Thanksgiving. We had 8 different types of cheese and the designer in me couldn’t resist but make little signs for each of them.
I almost made additional signs for the desserts, but had to say no since I wasn’t even close to finishing my baking. First things, first – the desserts themselves!
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday last week!

Thank goodness it’s Friday! I’ve been working twice as hard this past week because most likely I will absent from this space (and from doing any letterpress work) for most of next week. My amazing cousin and dear friend, Caitlin, is getting married next week (next week! my little cousin!) and we’re having well over 30 people for Thanksgiving because of it. Between cleaning, baking, and cooking for turkey day, plus all of the prep for the wedding and the nupitals themselves (I’m a co-maid of honor), I think I will actually be more busy not working!
However, make sure to check this space on Monday as I will be posting a special “Black Friday special”!
Have a wonderful weekend!

As someone who loves a good feathered fascinator or flowery headband, I loved this DIY tutorial from Jordan about making your own Floral Party Hats. Are they too cute or what?!

I will always love Toast’s nightwear section. They’re the reason why I’ve been daydreaming of thin-pinstriped pajama pants for over two years now. Putting “comfy pj’s” to the top of my holiday wishlist. As someone who works from home half of the work week, I can tell you… good pajamas are imperative!

Today was nothing but absolutely nutty for me; everything that could possibly go wrong while printing – did. Well, okay… maybe not EVERYTHING, but it sure felt like it. Came home and saw this desk space from Lobster & Swan and immediately felt relief, if even for a moment. Someday, I will have a workspace of my own and keep it clean and organized. Someday. Today, I really love this image.

I’ve done it. I’ve finally taken the plunge and joined Pinterest. I’ve gotten a slew of invites over the last year or so and was very consciously holding out. It’s just one more thing you have to maintain and update (when I already feel maxed out at times), and knowing me and being honest… a distraction from getting work done during the day.
I just started so it’s still very sparse, but you’re welcome to follow me and help me build more boards. And now my view on it has flipped and I thought “why haven’t I done this sooner?!” – I keep a folder of inspiration on my computer which is getting overloaded with files, so much that it’s becoming hard to go through. I could’ve done the same thing I already do, but keep it all organized and saved on Pinterest a lot sooner. Onward and upward, I guess!
