I’ve been a key member at a community print shop in Providence, RI for over a year now – the AS220 Print Shop.  The Print Shop is run under an umbrella non-profit organization, AS220, which supports the creative community of Providence (and beyond) through various spaces & services including workshops, galleries, artist studios, music and performance spaces, and more – all in a unjuried and uncensored environment open to all.

To help raise funds for the shop, we run a Print Lottery every other year: 200 pieces of artwork are collected from artists from all over the world, and 200 tickets are sold.  During the actual lottery, each ticket is matched with a piece of art, so the monetary donors help the Print Shop continue to sustain itself – and they are then gifted with a unique and one-of-a-kind print or work on paper.

Please if you’re able, purchase a ticket to the Print Lottery.  Tickets sell for $100 and there are only 200 tickets, so there’s only a certain amount of spots before they’ve all been taken!

Please take moment to watch this beautiful video about the shop which I was happy to be a part of… you can really see what an amazing place it is from watching it!
