This past weekend was my first fair in Rhode Island, a full weekend event hosted by Festival Fete in East Greenwich, RI. It was also my first time not having a helper during a show and not sharing a booth with a friend – which made me a little bit anxious to be completely alone Saturday and Sunday.
We had great weather both days and a big turnout, and I was lucky to have wonderfully friendly people on either side of me, MB by brigid and Ravel Studio. Couldn’t have asked for nicer people, both who were kind enough to ask if I needed help setting up, taking things down, or if I needed coverage for a quick break. Also had the friendliest customers and received so much positive feedback & interest in my work, which is always a nice thing to hear – especially when you pulled several days straight of 8-15 hour print days right before the show (*which explains my lack of posts last week)! All in all, it was a really great event to kick off the big fall fair season and is helping me get excited for autumn.
Both 2013 letterpress calendars made their debut at Festival Fete this weekend, stay tuned for when they’re available in the shop!
