It’s been a chilly week around New England, but I’m looking forward to the more summery temps hopefully by this weekend. Perhaps it will be nice enough to need to make some simply fruit popsicles? These from Call Me Cupcake look a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Seriously, yum.

I was hoping this week would be the start of regular blogging again, but I promise I have a good excuse: I was visiting the National Stationery Show in NYC! Got up at 5 am, drove to the city with Sarah, visited the show, attended the Stationery Meet-up, then drove all the way back home – got in just after 2 am last night. Although I’m a bit exhausted today, it was so worth it. I got to meet so many people whose work I’ve admired for years or have talked to only on blogs, instagram, or facebook – it’s was so nice to be able to meet people face-to-face and say hello in person. It was a long Tuesday, but a great one! Thanks, Sarah for being my co-pilot and NSS buddy!

I was hoping to get to Brimfield for the first time this past week, but there’s just too much other stuff going on. Probably later on this year, for sure. Was happy to see SouleMama’s photos from her visit – looks like it’s quite an adventure!

Lately my letterpress work has been so up and down; for a few weeks things are so busy that my entire life goes out the window to get the work done, then other weeks it gets slow and I worry about what I’m doing. Reading Lynn’s (from Satsuma Press) interview on Rena Tom today really uplifted me – to know others out there go through the same struggles and have the same worries made me relax a bit. She’s someone I’ve been inspired by for a long time (professionally & personally), that it was really encouraging to read her thoughts and experiences.
Definitely head over, it’s such a good read!

What a gorgeous letterpress shop! Check out Studio on Fire’s new studio space over on Felt & Wire – and take a look at some of their work as well.

These photos from Katie Quinn Davies (of What Katie Ate) of The Grounds (Australia) are so beautiful it hurts. That food is making me so hungry! Wish it wasn’t on the opposite side of the world, I’d love to visit.
