I’m pleased to announce three more stores that carry my letterpress products! Derby Farm Flowers & Gardens (Arlington, MA), The Curatorium (Providence, RI), and Inkwell Modern Handmade Boutique (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) all have an assortment of note cards, prints & gift sets. They’re all wonderful stores, so if you happen to be near one of them definitely drop in!

If you’re a retailer and you’re interested in my wholesale information, send me an email and I’ll send it your way.

My 2012 letterpress calendar went on sale today at 20% off. There aren’t too many left, so make sure you get one before they’re gone! Don’t forget that 10% of all proceeds of the calendar are being donated to the Mass Audubon Society.

After being inspired by these images of pears & kraft paper from OSBP, I decided to design my holiday card for my clients, vendors, and colleagues with pears on branches printed in gold & fig inks and paired with, of course… a kraft brown envelope. I am so very lucky to work with friendly and talented people on a daily basis, and wanted to wish them well during the holidays and thank them for the opportunity to work with them. It took me a while to draw out all the pears just the way I wanted them, but I was pleased with the final results.

You never know when a photo will inspire your next project!

I’ve been a fan of Cynthia Warren for a while now, but recently revisited her portfolio for inspiration of illustrations with fine-line work. She is so talented! Love her drawings and especially love her use of typography.

I recently was asked to be filmed & photographed by photojournalist grad student, Sarah Mongeau-Birkett. She needed to make a short video based on someone’s work and their process, and contacted me after finding me when I showed my work at SoWa. Here’s the finished piece! She did a great job and was awesome to hang out with early on a Friday morning (she was such a trooper at got up at 4:30 am to be able to make a train down to Providence!).
Sarah take gorgeous photographs and blogs frequently; for more of her work, check out her blog here.
