Recently came across the work of Julie Song Ink. Really loving her calligraphy and texture from the brush work. Not to mention those delicious colors – they’re getting me so excited for spring!

Took a little longer than I had hoped, but finally the love note cards & other goodies are now in the shop! Since I’ll be away from February 8–22nd, make sure to order asap so I can get things to you before I leave (and well before February 14th!).

Even before Christmas had come, I was busy working on my Valentine’s Day items in early December… It felt awfully strange to be designing while listening to Bing Crosby and A Charlie Brown Christmas at the same time! Here’s a sneak peek from printing last week.

I’m teaching another Business Card workshop at the AS220 Print Shop in Providence, RI on Thursday, November 3rd from 6–10 pm. Students can either submit their own design ahead of time or they can pick from three templates; everyone leaves with 250 letterpress business cards printed in a dark blue ink. I am really excited for this event, especially after blogging about Kyle’s letterpress efforts last year. Kyle and her Chevy van, which have been converted into a letterpress shop on wheels, will be visiting the AS220 Print Shop in Providence, RI this coming Monday, October 17th from 6:00–9:00 pm. A facebook event has been created here, for anyone that is interested in stopping by, checking out Moveable Type, as well as the AS220 Print Shop. I’m a key member at the shop and will be helping at the event. Looks like a really cool night!
