Swooning over the details from Kristen & Ben’s wedding (over on 100 Layer Cake).  This wedding has the type of rustic, French country elegance that I love.  Love the color scheme, her wedding dress, and veil too… so classically beautiful.

Beautiful, feminine things from Gloaming Designs (a colleague from my art school days; she’s currently residing in Paris, which I think makes these pieces look even more lovely!).  I would love to purchase one of her tea sets!

I have a new favorite show that mixes two of my favorite things, gardening and cooking: Jamie at Home.  It’s a simple premise, Jamie picks one type of food (or food group), gives you growing tips for your garden, and then uses fresh, organic produce and ingredients (much of which is grown or raised on his farm) and makes easy-to-prepare, delicious meals.

I find the show to be incredibly relaxing (I usually watch it when I get home from work or late at night) and love his enthusiasm for cooking.  He gets so excited about food (often being really funny) that it’s contagious and I literally want to make everything he makes.  I also love the different kitchens he cooks in around his home (an outside patio, a rustic kitchen, or even a little cast iron stove in a small living room).  This autumn weekend, I think a roast chicken with a platter full of assorted roasted root vegetables is in order.  Definitely check out the show if you can, it’s playing in the States on the Cooking Channel.

Very excited for the launch of Mossiére (owned by Alyson from Unruly Things).  Specifically can’t wait for the calendar; the sneak peek looks up my alley… nature and beautiful calligraphy, oh my!

We had three lovely visitors to our garden early this morning.  Thank goodness my camera was close by; I missed my opportunity last week when they came around the same time of day.

I feel very blessed to have such beauty right in my own backyard.

Some lovely typographic and textural eye candy for you today, Alyson & Levi’s wedding invitations.  I was waiting so patiently for all her wedding details to be unveiled over the summer, then August turned out to be a crazy month and I’m just now seeing all of them.  Absolutely love!
